The BVH Goomie is a two place, single engine, low wing, all metal pusher aircraft. It can be built as a fixed or retractable tricycle landing gear. It can use engines from 80-120 HP. Its cantilever wings incorporate an simple I-beam spars. The wings can be built with a folding mechanism to allow transportation on a trailer or to require minimum hanger space. Ninety (90) liters a fuel is carried in the fuselage. The empty weight will vary between 420 - 450 kg, depending on the selected engine. The normal gross weight is 550 kg, with a maximum gross weight of 650 kg, again, depending on the engine. In a fixed gear configuration, the nose is full castering allowing fantastic ground maneuvering. The aircraft is equipped with a steerable nosewheel and differential brakes.
